Send a gift by emailCreating and sharing a registry is always free. Each gift includes a small processing fee, and at checkout we gently invite gifters to cover it — so the person starting over receives every dollar meant for them. Most gifters are happy to.
A processing fee of 4.9% + $0.30 covers card processing and keeps Untied running. By default the gifter covers it, so the recipient receives 100% of the amount chosen — gifters can opt out at checkout, in which case the fee comes out of the gift.
Absolutely. Registries are private by default and only visible to people you share the link with.

No. As long as a guest knows your email address, they can send you a gift through Untied without you ever setting up a registry — we'll let you know it's waiting and walk you through claiming it.
